Summer Reading 2019 - A Universe of Stories
Step 1: Pick up a bookmark at the library starting Friday, May 31st
Step 2: Read, read, read! (Babies through rising 5th graders - 40 books) **Books, ebooks, graphic novels, magazines, and audiobooks all count**
Step 3: Cross off numbers on your bookmark as you go!
Step 4: Turn your bookmark in by Thursday, July 25th to be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing
June 12th - Rock 'n' Rope Warrior at 4:00PM
July 8th - Hanson Family Jugglers at 2:00PM and 6:00PM *Same show at both sessions*
July 13th - Noah's Ark Animal Workshop: Build an Alien at 1:00PM **Due to limited supplies, tickets are required for this program & are available at the library starting June 3rd, there is also a $5 fee for this program.** SESSION IS FULL

Reading Rockets Story Time (All Ages)
Mondays and Thursdays -- June 3rd - July 25th at 10:00AM
Story time for all ages with a different theme each week - same program both days. No registration required. Caregivers mus attend with children.
*No programs the week of July 4th*
Asteriod Adventures (Grades K-5)
Wednesdays -- June 5th - July 24th at 2:00PM
Fun filled adventures for kids grades K-5 with a different theme each week. Programs run one hour long. No registration required. *No programs June 12th, July 3rd, and July 17th*
Teen Trivia (Grades 6th–12th) *No Registration
Bring your thinking caps and compete with other teens in teams while answering questions from various topics. Topics vary from sports, music, literature, history, movies and so much more! Snacks are provided. No registration.
Dates: Tuesdays, June 4th and July 9th
Teen Cooking Club (Grades 6th-12th) *No Registration
Calling all teen foodies and aspiring chefs! This club is a place for you to learn how to cook or share your expertise. All experience levels are welcome! No fee and no registration.
Date: Tuesday, June 18th
Theme: Space -- ice cream, space bark, moon pies and more!
Teen Time (Grades 6th-12th) * No Registration
Bring a T-shirt of your choice to tie-dye or bleach to make out of this work shirts to wear. You will get to take your shirt home with you.

Coding Club (Grades 4th-12th) *Registration Required
We'll use Code Combat to teach the basics of programming in Python. Code Combat is a web interface and curriculum system that lets students learn to code while playing and customizing a fantasy adventure video game. Registration required.
Dates: Tuesdays, June 11th - July 23rd (no code club on July 2nd)
