Ride Line Transportation Services
Ride Line is a public transportation system. We set up bus rides for the general public, people with disabilities, the elderly and children in Aberdeen, including citizens residing within 2.5 miles of the city limits.
Reserving a Ride
Rides must be scheduled at least one day in advance of your appointment. Reservations are accepted from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Rides must be scheduled at least one day in advance of your appointment. The cost per one way ride is $2. Cash is accepted by drivers. They do not carry change. 10 ride and 20 ride punch cards are available to purchase.
Demand Bus Service
Demand Bus Service offers a fare of $2.00 per one way trip for anyone, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Service for Persons with Disabilities
Services are available to persons with disabilities at the rate of $2.00 per fare, and feature curb-to-curb service. Special certifications are not required for visitors with disabilities. 50% of our buses are wheelchair accessible. If you need additional assistance to get to and from the bus you can bring along a personal attendant. The personal attendant rides along for free.
Connection to Jefferson Bus LinesWe provide shuttle service from Aberdeen, with stops in Groton and Webster to connect with Jefferson Bus Lines twice a day, Monday-Friday, in Summit, SD, with Jefferson service to Fargo ND or Sioux Falls SD. Call the office for schedules and pricing.
