1. When does the Aberdeen Aquatic Center open and close for the season?

The Aberdeen Aquatic Center opens for the 2013 season on Saturday, May 25 and will be open through Sunday, August 18.

2. How do I become an employee at the Aberdeen Aquatic Center?

Summer employement applications are bein accepted now! All Aberdeen Aquatic Center lifeguards are American Red Cross certified in lifeguard training. If you are interested in becoming lifeguard certified, please contact Travis Lemer at (605) 626-7015 to discuss training and employment opportunities. To apply for any position at the Aberdeen Aquatic Center, print and fill out an application from the following link: Parks, Recreation and Forestry Dept.Application

3. What level of swim lessons should my child sign up for?

If your child did not take lessons with us last summer, please review the learn to swim level descriptions page. If your child did take lessons from us last summer, we do have records of which class they took and which level they should sign up for this summer. Please call the Parks & Rec office at 626-7015 for that information.

4. I am just going to watch and am not going to swim. Do I still have to pay to enter the Aberdeen Aquatic Center?

The Aberdeen Aquatic Center offers fun for the entire family, whether you would like to swim or just observe from the deck. All persons entering the facility are welcome to use our entire facility and are counted towards our maximum capacity, and therefore required to pay admission fees.

5. Does the Aberdeen Aquatic Center offer a group discount?

Yes, we offer a 20% discount package Monday through Friday for groups of 20 or more.
