The city of Aberdeen is the home of three historic districts. In 1975, the first two districts so recognized were the Aberdeen (Haggerty/Lloyd) Historic District and the Aberdeen Highlands Historic District. In 1988, the Aberdeen Commercial Historic District was also recognized.
