MITIGATION PLAN
Freddie Robinson discussed the FEMA requirement to have a Hazard
Mitigation Plan in place to receive certain funding.
Plans included in this document would be used by the Feds to
determine the level of funding FEMA would allow for some grants.
Discussion followed, no action was taken.

– DEVELOPMENT OF MINI GOLF COURSE
Discussion was held regarding the two proposals from private
developers and the proposal from Park and Recreation Board to operate
and develop a Mini Golf Course at Wylie Park.
After further discussion, Commissioner Pfeifer moved to reject
all proposals and continue to operate mini-golf as is until next budget
session. Motion died for
lack of a second. Commissioner
Kirkpatrick moved, Commissioner Omland seconded to refer the matter back
to the Park and Recreation Board for further consideration of both bids
and a future recommendation to the Commission.
