Women's Morning Exercise
Join us in this class of general exercise that emphasizes flexibility and general fitness.

Schedule
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. 
  • Day: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
  • Location: Washington Street Gym
  • Instructor: Kathryn Moen & Anita Bonen
  • Fee: $10 per session

ZUMBA

Ditch the workout - Join the party!  The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away. 

Session A:  January 29 - March 9, 2015

Session B:  March 16 - April 29, 2015

Time:  (choose one) Mondays, 7:05-7:50 pm or Wednesdays 6:20-7:05 pm

 

Pilates Mat Classes
Pilates is a non-impact, body conditioning class.  The Pilates method is an exercise focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without building bulk.  Students will learn proper breathing and body alignment, improve concentration and keep muscle tone longer.

Schedule
   

  • Times: (choose one)   
    • Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:20 p.m. OR 
    • Thursdays 5:50 - 6:40 pm.       
  • Day: Tuesdays or Thursdays 
  • Location: Aberdeen Recreation & Cultural Center
  • Instructor: Brigette Weisenburger 
  • Fee: $36 (+tax) per session

Hapkido-Korean Street Self-Defense
Practical hands-on applications for real-life situations.  Gain self-confidence as you begin to recognize and put to use your basic survival instincts and natural reactions in potentially threatening situations.  Students should wear clothes suitable for low impact exercise.  Shoes will not be worn for class.  Ages 14 and up. 
Session A:  Saturdays, January 17-February 7, 2015
Session B:  Saturdays, March 7-March 28, 2015
Time:  1-2 pm
Instructor:  Miss Charlene Blondo; 2nd Degree Black Belt in TaeKwonDo, 1st Degree Black Belt in Hapkido.
Fee:  $20+tax
Pre-register by:  3 days prior to each session.

Walk For Health

Monday through Friday, come to Washington Street Gym at 401 North Washington Street and walk for health.  The gym will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and there is no charge.

Seniors Open Gym
The Washington Street Gym will be open for seniors to shoot hoops and play basketball.  Come give it a try!  Available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 12:30 p.m.  Runs January 13-March 26, 2015.  No charge.
