COMPUTER CLASSES & MEDIA ART
Registration for all Fall Classes begins the Tuesday after Labor Day. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available.  All classes are subject to 6% sales tax. COMPUTER CLASSES
BASIC COMPUTER SKILLS
This class is for beginners to give an overview of
how to use the computer. Learn to navigate your
computer efficiently and become more comfortable
using it. Activity #319500

INTRO TO GAME DESIGN
This class will teach computer game design using
intuitive and visual software. Create stories and
characters then bring them to life with animation
and interaction. The software will be free so that
students can work at home and continue learning.
Basic Computer knowledge is required. Students
are encouraged to bring laptops (windows or Mac)
to work on. Ages 16 and up. Activity #319660

EXPLORING E-MAIL & INTERNET
This class will take the fear out of using email!
Learn about folders, address books, and how
to attach files. Explore, online shopping and
games and all the internet has to offer- without
the fear of security breaches and identity theft.

 Computer Graphic Design
INTRO TO 3-D COMPUTER GRAPHICS

This class will cover concepts for the entire process
with hands on work focused on modeling and
texturing. We will use free software in this class so
students can work at home and continue learning
after class is over. Students must have basic

UNDERSTANDING iPADS
This class will give you basic understanding of
iPads: how they work; applications on them and
how to use them; and other applications that are

FACEBOOK/SOCIAL NETWORKING
Make new friends, reconnect with old friends and
find family all over the world to visit with, all from
the comfort of your computer chair! This short
class will teach you everything there is to know
about using Facebook – what to do, what not to
do, and how you can shorten the distance between
you and your loved ones! Must have taken a basic
computer skills class and Exploring Email course.

BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY

ON LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY – NEW!
Further your photography skills with this advanced
class and learn on the go! Half of each class will
be on location around Aberdeen learning to use
our environment and available light to capture
beautiful images while the other half will be
in the classroom sharing what we have learned
and learning from each other. Ages 14 and up.

PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS FOR BEGINNERS
Learn the basics of Photoshop Elements. From
photo editing to layout and design with a special
added bonus: Learning how to design your own
unique Holiday Card! Bring your digital photos,
your camera, and a USB flash drive to class. Basic
computer knowledge is required. Lab fee includes a
limited amount of printing.

THROUGH THE LENS CAMERA CLUB
Through The Lens Camera Club meets every 3rd Monday of the Month at 7:00PM at the ARCC. There is no charge and it is for all skill levels and camera types. Photo challenges, photo field trips, guest speakers and many other activities. For more information contact Dana Geuther at or 605-290-9590.
