Registration for all Spring Classes begins the Monday, January 7th, 2013. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. PHOTOGRAPHY
BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY
Learn the basic rules for photography as well as visual elements essential to creating great photographs. This class is for people with little or no experience in photography. Ages 13 and up.

PAINT, PAPER & PEN
ENCAUSTIC PAINTING – NEW!
Paint with hot wax and the entire color spectrum of crayons! Learn an ancient technique with modern applications. Working in layers of color, you can build the wax, shape it, carve it, scratch to reveal colors beneath, and create wonderfully diverse and multidimensional surface textures and colors. Ages 16 and up.

SATURDAY SCRIBBLERS
If you like to write stories, memoirs, poetry, or journal but you need encouragement to sit down and “just do it!”- join the Saturday Scribblers! The Scribblers are a casual group of people who gather together to spend time writing, sharing and offering helpful suggestions to each other. It’s fun, supportive, and inspiring. Everyone has a story to tell. We gather to help each other tell our stories. Bring your own writing and/or writing materials, coffee and doughnuts! Meets 10 am – Noon on the first and third Saturdays of the month through April.

OPEN STUDIO
The ARCC offers room to spread out to work on your own projects in an open studio setting with
other artists. On each Wednesday, space will be set aside for those who would like to come in on work on projects. All supplies are to be provided by participants; however some equipment such as presses, a Cricut cutter (with limited cartridges), paper cutters, heat guns, mat cutters, and other items may be used upon permission. Participants must check in with the front desk on studio location each week.
