Registration for all Fall Classes begins the Monday, August 31st at 8am. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available. All classes are subject to 6% sales tax. WEAVE A QUILT – NEW!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to weave, but
were unable to find or afford a large loom? In this
class, you will learn a continuous strand weaving
method for making blankets, scarves and more.
PLUS come home with three different shaped looms.
No previous knowledge of weaving is required, just
bring some yarn and you are set to go!
Ages 16 and up.

FRENCH KNITTING – NEW!
French knitting, also known as spool knitting or
corking, is a simple way to knit narrow tubes that
can be used for many practical and decorative items.

BEGINNING MARKET BASKET
WITH SWING HANDLES – NEW!

Using natural reed, learn how to weave a 9" X 14"
X 6" market basket with swing handles that can be
used for many things ranging from magazines,
towels, crafting supplies, and picnics! No experience
necessary. Ages 16 and up.

KNITTING YOUR FIRST SWEATER – NEW!
Using basic knit and purl stitches, increasing and
decreasing techniques, participants in this class will
learn to knit a basic sweater. This sweater is designed
as a relaxed pullover, great for everyday wear, skiing,
or farm work. Flush, crocheted neck and wrist edges.
A simple easy sweater to make in 3 size choices: 40, 44
or 48. The main body will be knit with approximately
size 8 or 9 straight needles using worsted weight yarn.
Materials will be available to purchase at the class.

CYLINDER WEAVING – NEW!
Using a simple cardboard tube as a loom, learn to
weave a cylinder with a bottom as one piece. The
class project will be a small weaving suitable as a
can coozie, or, with the addition of a carrying strap, a
water bottle carrier. Techniques learned in class can
be adapted to create larger works such as bags and
purses. Ages 16 and up.

QUILT GUILDS
The Aberdeen Quilt Guild meets the third Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the ARCC. The Candlelight Quilt Guild meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are open to anyone interested in quilting. Local quilters meet to share old and new techniques in cutting, piecing, color selections, and quilting by hand or machine. Demonstrations held monthly. Please call 626-7081 for more information.
