INTRODUCTION TO PMC
Want to know what all the excitement is about? Join others in this class to learn how to make beautiful fine silver jewelry from soft, workable “clay like” silver. It’s so exciting to see everybody’s ideas turn into beautiful works of art! Supply fee is nonrefundable past registration deadline.

BASIC WIREWORK
You will learn about metals and wire characteristics, choosing the right tools for you and using them safely, and how to make simple and wrapped loops. We will be discussing how to choose and care for tools. A basic set of tools and practice wire will be provided for class use, but bring your own beads in a variety of colors and sizes. Most will leave with finished pieces, but the focus of this class is mastering the tools and techniques. No experience necessary. Ages 16 and up.

SUSPENDED TREASURES
Capture small treasures or found objects (odd shaped stones, beach glass, pottery shards, etc) in a unique and elegant setting. We will use two different sizes of wire to free-form a custom frame in which your treasure is suspended. The more interesting the shape of the focal piece, the more challenging it will be to form the right frame to show it off, but also the more fun it is to meet the challenge.
Prerequisite: Basic Wirework class. Ages 16 and up.

WIRE MAGIC
Form wire into elegant findings to enhance your wire jewelry. In this class you will make your own clasps, fancy connectors, coiled wire beads, and other bead and wire enhancements to make your jewelry designs uniquely your own. Ages 16 and up. Basic wirework class recommended.

ROLL PRINTED JEWELRY – NEW!
Roll printing is a form of embossing a design on a ductile metal such as copper or sterling silver. Donald Paul of Edgeley, ND will present this workshop that will help you create your own original design on metal utilizing a combination of textures, shapes and balance to turn into a pair of earrings, a pendant or a brooch in each of the metals. Ages 15 and up.
