Practice for the Softball season begins Monday, June 3. Games begin June 10, and the season runs for nine weeks.
Leagues have games scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If games are not scheduled, practices are usually held. Game times are the same as practice times. Game / practice times are as follows:
Participants must be entering the fourth grade in the fall of 2013 to begin the program. Those who turn 15 years of age on or before May 1, 2013, will not be allowed to participate in the B League baseball program, but are encouraged to try out for Teeners or Smitties Legion Baseball.
All equipment is provided except for personal items (i.e., gloves, caps, and shoes). Players may not wear steel cleats. Rubber-soled turf shoes are allowed. Every player will be issued a uniform that must be returned at the end of the season.
There is a $35 fee for baseball to be paid at the time of registration. A $3 late fee will be added after May 22. Receive a 20% discount by registering on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 8 am to 1 pm.
Softball Uniform Distribution
Youth baseball players are instructed to stop in to the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center, located at 225 Third Avenue SE, during the following days at the designated time for their league, or at open times, and receive their baseball uniforms.

- 11:00 am - 12:00 noon: B / C Leagues
- 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm: Open (any player)
- 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: D Major / D Minor

- 11:00 am - 4:00 pm: Open (any player)
