ADA Guidelines

Accessible Aberdeen

The City Planning Department follows the guidelines set forth by the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities. Utilizing these guidelines and local ordinances, our building inspectors seek to inform builders and evaluate new construction and remodeling projects with the goal of making properties reasonably accessible to those with additional challenges.
