of the Maps requires acknowledgement that the maps are for
the convenience of the public and the use of these maps or
prints made from these maps do not constitute certification
by the Planning & Zoning Department.
Verbal
confirmation for a parcel may be obtained by calling the
Planning & Zoning Department at 605-626-7017.
Certification in writing by the Planning & Zoning
Department may be obtained by submitting the property
address and legal description to Aberdeen Planning &
Zoning Department 123 S Lincoln St, Aberdeen, SD
57401.
Maps
are in AutoCad “DWF” format.
First time users must click on the icon below to
download and install the free Autocad Express Viewer plug-in software
in order to view the maps. You only have to install the plug in one time. From then on
when you revisit this site the maps will display.
Autodesk Design Review is available free to end users.
Click

The following commands are available
in Autodesk Express Viewer: Pan, Zoom, Zoom to Rectangle, Fit to Window, Full
View, Named Views, Highlight URLs, Print, Save As, Back, and Forward. In the
Autodesk Express Viewer window, clicking the
right mouse button displays these commands in the Autodesk
Express Viewer menu.
If you select the
Autodesk Viewer command SaveAS…, you can save the
map file with the “dwf” extension to your local hard
disk. Then you
can load the map on your local hard drive a lot quicker in
your browser’s “off-line” mode, and download the map
periodically for the latest updates.
Autodesk Design Review has
a known issue that causes script errors when dwf files are opened
directly from web pages. If you are getting errors
trying to open maps, right click on the map you want to open, click on
SAVE TARGET AS and save the map to your local hard drive. The file
should open from your local hard drive with no problems.
