your hometown grocer, presents Storybook Land Performances. A
series of performances for children are scheduled to be held on the
Castle Stage in Storybook Land. This is free entertainment the

FABLES
AND FAIRY TALES
Aberdeen
Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department and the Alexander
Mitchell Public Library will be sponsoring eight special story times
geared for children ages 3 to 7 in the Storybook Land Castle at Wylie
Park. Story times will include a variety of stories and folk tales
as well as songs and arts and crafts activities. "Fables and
Fairy Tales" will begin at 10:30 am and last approximately 40 minutes.
When: Fridays, June 5- July 31
FABLES AND FAIRY TALES
READING ROAD TRIP TO USA
A big
finale for "Fables and Fairy Tales" and the "Be Creative
at your libray" summer reading program will feature fun and excitement
for everyone. Stories, games, crafts, songs and refreshments for
all. Everyone is welcome.
When: Friday, July 31 - 10:30 am

STORYBOOK LAND THEATRE
The
national award-winning Storybook Land Theatre Company will be presenting
a series of children's plays in the Storybook Land Castle this
summer. This is free entertainment for the whole family. A
different play will be presented each week for six weeks with three,
weekly performances. Plays are cosponsored by the Aberdeen Area
Arts Council and the South Dakota Arts Council through funds from the
State of South Dakota and the National Endowment for the Arts.
When: June 21 - July 29; Tuesdays- 10:30am; Wednesdays-
7:30pm; Sundays- 5:00pm
