Constructed in 1987, the Wastewater Plant treats, on average, four million gallons of wastewater per day. The Wastewater Plant is a recipient of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Award of Merit for operational excellence for 2000. The plant is staffed around the clock by certified Wastewater Treatment Plant operators.
