Registration for all Winter/Spring Classes will begin Monday, January 7, 2019. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available. All classes are subject to 6.5% sales tax. BASICS OF SOCIAL DANCE


A simple introduction to the world of social dancing, while learning the basics to the two step, waltz, fox-trot and swing. Emphasis will be on basic moves, footwork, lead follow techniques, connection, and several popular moves. An easy and fun experience! Couples or singles welcome. Ages 15 and up.

COUNTRY TWO STEP


The two-step is a basic dance move done by singles, partners and groups. This class will cover the basic two step as adapted to Country Music. Instruction will focus on the basic moves of two and triple or polka step and waltz style dance, footwork and turns. Get off your chair and onto the dance floor! Ages 15 and up.

ABERDEEN SENIOR LINE DANCERS


Line dancing is an excellent way to keep physically fit, build agility and exercise the memory. The Aberdeen Senior Line Dancers meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at the ARCC at 1:00 p.m. for line dance fun and socialization. An Aberdeen Senior Center Membership is required to participate. BEGINNING BALLET


Ballet is a beautiful, graceful dance that leaves your body feeling stretched and strong. Students of any age and experience are welcome in this class, tights and leotards are optional! Grades 9 and up.

BEGINNING TAP


Borrow or purchase a pair of shoes from us, or bring your own and make some noise with your feet! Tap is a fun way to get out and get moving while working your brain at the same time! All are welcome! Grades 9 and up.

NEW! BEGINNING MODERN


Great for beginning dancers or experienced dancers looking for a refresher course, this class will teach the rudimentary movements that are the foundation for classical modern dance. Students will focus on contractions, spirals and basic floor work while building core strength and flexibility in a fun and encouraging environment. Wear loose comfortable clothing you can move in - no shoes required! Grades 9 and up.

PiYo is athletic training that is influenced by Pilates and Yoga.
