Bid Process & Verification
The department's bid process requires staff to review the bid proposal documents and send a recommendation for award to the City Council
. This review ensures all bid requirements are met and verifies that bid bonds, authorized signatures, and all dollar amount calculations are correct.
Once the verification is complete, a recommendation is made to the City Council to award the contracts to the suppliers / contractors that meet the bid specifications at the best price.
