Bid Recommendations

Bid Process & Verification


The department's bid process requires staff to review the bid proposal documents and send a recommendation for award to the City Council. This review ensures all bid requirements are met and verifies that bid bonds, authorized signatures, and all dollar amount calculations are correct.

Once the verification is complete, a recommendation is made to the City Council to award the contracts to the suppliers / contractors that meet the bid specifications at the best price.
