If you would like to set up a tour of any of the fire stations, please fill out our Fire Station Tour Request.
To obtain an application for a Knox Box, please call (605) 626-7024 to schedule an appointment with the fire marshal.
A Knox Box, known officially as the KNOX-BOX Rapid Entry System is a small, wall-mounted safe that holds building keys for firefighters and EMTs to retrieve in emergencies. Local fire companies can hold master keys to all such boxes in their response area so they can quickly enter a building without having to force entry, or find individual keys held in deposit at the station.
If you are an EMT student, paramedic student, or a currently certified out-of-hospital health care provider and are interested in doing a ride-along with Aberdeen Fire Rescue, you can call 605-626-7048 to schedule a time.
If you present a dive card at the time of drop off or have one on file with Aberdeen Fire and Rescue, the department will fill scuba tanks for a fee of $10.
