Registration for all Winter/Spring Classes will begin Monday, January 7, 2019. Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. Online Registration also available.  All classes are subject to 6.5% sales tax. NEW! COMIC CREATOR CLUB


Like making comic books? So do we! This club will meet once a month to talk about all aspects of creating comic books or comic strips. From writing to illustration, either traditionally or digitally. Anything related to the creation of comics is welcome. Creators can work in a positive like-minded group, and will have the opportunity to bounce ideas off of each other and receive peer critiques, and positive criticism. There is no charge for attending the Comic Creator Club. Ages 12 and up.

NEW! ADULT DRAWING

This class is for those who have never worked with the medium or just love watercolor. You will go over various techniques to use, as well as using watercolor to your own style’s advantage. Ages 18 and up.

FICTION WRITING FOR BEGINNERS AND BEYOND


Basics and beyond for fiction and novel writing. Whether you have never written a word, or have a novel in progress, come and write with us. Learn the art of fiction writing from the start, or hone your writing skills. This course is a mixture of instruction, information, writing prompts, and class workshops. Our class agenda each semester is determined by the specific wants and needs of the participants, so come and join us! Ages 16 and up.

NEW! WRITING WORKSHOPS


Come join us for a series of writing workshops throughout the spring semester. Sign up for one, two, or all three! Each workshop will focus on a specific genre. Please bring work to share that falls into the specific genre, even if all you have is an idea or an outline. We will discuss the specific genre and tips for writing within it during the first half of the workshop, and we will take a look at our specific work during the second half.

Are you intrigued by stories about ghosts, paranormal activities, or serial killers? Do you have an idea for a Stephen King type thriller? Come learn more about how to create an exciting plot, string your readers along, and reveal key elements at just the write moment.
