Registration Begins Tuesday, September 5 at 8:00 a.m.

Programs are filled on a first-pay, first-served basis, preregistration by the published deadline is required. Payment can be made by credit or debit card by phone or by check or cash in person. LOOM WEAVING
Learn several aspects of weaving and setting up a multiple harness loom from warp calculations to fully dressing it. Each student will have a loom to set up and work on. Classes range from Beginning Weaving; Advanced Beginning Weaving; to Individual Study; Beginning students will weave a small hand towel. Advanced Beginning Students will weave a small table runner. Individual Study projects depend on what the student wishes to learn and weave. *Note: There is a material fee of $20 or more depending on project chosen payable to the instructor. The ARCC has 15 looms available for students, but each session is limited to 4 students. Ages 18 and up.

NEW! WET FELTED OCTOPUS
Get creative with this colorful, textural project. Join artist Melony Malsom for this fun introduction to wet felting and make your own octopus using a variety of mediums. Ages 16 and up.

NEW! SEWING BASICS
Come learn some sewing basics. Attach a button, repair small holes, and hemming are skills addressed in this class. *Participants will need to bring a sewing machine that they are familiar with enough to thread and replace the bobbin. Ages 18 and up.

NEW! NEEDLE FELTED WOODLAND FOLK
Intro to needle felt sculpture. The legend of the Tomten (gnome) has survived in cultures around the world for centuries. Now, you can make one of these endearing creatures of your own! Join Melony Malsom in creating a needle felted Tomten and bring him home to serve as the little protector of family, pets, and home. *You will need a golf ball sized stone from your property, as well as small pinecones, etc. to add decoration to his hat. Ages 16 and up.

Do you like the matching Christmas pajamas you see at the store? Learn how to make your own from patterns to completed garment. All sizes available. BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE CROCHET
Come learn the basics of crochet and learn to make a washcloth or scarf. If you know more than the basics, come learn some new patterns and improve your crocheting abilities. Beginning participants will learn the most basic stitches, or new stitches if you are at the intermediate level. (A break is scheduled from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. for lunch on your own, please plan accordingly). *Please state if you are left-handed when registering, so proper accommodation can be made. Quilt Guilds
The Aberdeen Quilt Guild meets the third Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the ARCC. The Candlelight Quilt Guild meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The Aberdeen Modern Quilt Guild meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are open to anyone interested in quilting. Local quilters meet to share old and new techniques in cutting, piecing, color selections, and quilting by hand or machine. Demonstrations held monthly.
