January 23, 2013: Masks & Printmaking

The plaster bandage masks turned out great! Here is a picture of them pre-decoration:

This week in Abstractions we will paint, bead, feather, button, etc... the dried masks. Once that is done, we will try our hand at Print Making with Styrofoam plates.

Styrofoam Printmaking Instructions: On a foam plate draw a design, pattern or picture. Next, take a sponge paint roller, dip it into paint and roll it over the plate. Finally, take a piece of paper and press it over the painted Styrofoam plate. Lift it up and there will be an imprint of your design on the paper.
