How do I contest a parking ticket / traffic ticket?

For traffic tickets, there will be a date on the bottom of your ticket. You should go to magistrate court on that date and enter a plea of "not guilty." A trial will be set for another date.

To contest a parking ticket, fill out a Ticket Review Form. If you submit the form before your fine is due, you will not incur any late fees.

A Ticket Review Form may also be used for traffic tickets and other violations of city ordinances. However, please be advised that tickets are rarely dismissed.
