Should I send a snack with my child?

For 2020 snacks will not be allowed in any ARCC Programs.  Water may be sent in a resealable container that is clearly marked with the child’s name.

For Discovery age children, no. Children between the first grade and sixth grades usually can hold out for three hours without a snack. For children in Pre/Wee Discovery it would be best to send a small healthy snack, in a well-marked bag/container. Drinks must be in a resealable container, and well-marked with the child’s name.

*Snacks must be free of peanuts, or tree nuts, for the safety of other students.
