Community Room 112A is a large meeting and activity space. You will be responsible to arranging the tables and chairs to meet your needs. In addition, this room has podium and a piano available for use. The room has audiovisual technology capabilities available to support your meeting or presentation needs. If you reserve the audiovisual equipment, you must plan to visit the library ahead of time to familiarize yourself with the equipment – there is no guarantee that a staff member will be able to assist you at the time of your meeting.
Businesses, for-profit groups, and other commercial entities will be charged $60 per hour reservation fee for this room. Room reservations are not secure until payment is received by the Public Library a minimum of 5 days prior to the event date.
If food or beverages are going to be served in the rooms a refundable deposit of $50.00 per room will be collected on approval of application. The deposit must be cash or check payable to the K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library with the name of the person or organization requesting the room printed on the check. Deposits will be returned if the reservation cannot be confirmed or after the meeting upon inspected of the room.
Cancellations are due at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund by calling the Community Room Coordinator at 605-626-7097 or completing this Reservation Cancellation Form.
The event will not be considered cancelled until a cancellation confirmation is issued.
A for-profit room cancellation with less than 48-hour notice will result in loss of the reservation fee. Exceptions include library cancellations or inclement weather.
